Scrappy Quilt

I'm working on a fun scrappy quilt for my niece's 13th birthday. This is from the raw edge circle quilt tutorial on Cluck, Cluck, Sew. I can't wait to see what it evolves into when it's finished.

Quilt Squares for Breast Cancer

My quilting group is making pink quilt squares for quilts to raise money for breast cancer research. Our fearless leader, Dana from the Old Red Barn blog, has volunteered to organize this huge venture and make the quilts. People like her make me just love being a part of the online quilting world. What a great, generous group of people I belong to now.

These are three of the blocks I made and it was fun to experiment and make a wonky star! I can't wait to make a whole quilt of these. Fun, fun, fun!
